Is it possible to get cut with resistance bands?

A Read Would Like To Know

I am 16. i weight train almost every other day and drink protein shakes.  i feel stronger since i started to work out but now i want to get cut.  if i were to start using them i would use them on the days i don’t weight train or early every day before school. I heard that resistance bands really help get muscles cut but I’m not sure if that’s true or if there’s more to it than it seems.
any advice on if i should try my luck with resistance bands or just stick with free weights.

Yes, you can build muscle with bands. I recommend Bodylastics. Here are some free workouts.

Luckily, building new lean muscle will melt away any fat you have so you can see those muscles. Download a copy of the Fat Burning Furnace to learn how.

Free weights offer gravity resistance, resistance bands and tubing offer resistance through stretching. You can no more (or less) get cut using resistance bands than you can through using free weights, they are just different.

Personally I love resistance bands and tubing (ok I love the dumbbells too) they are incredibly flexible, giving you the ability to simulate a great range of cable based exercises at home, without the bulky equipment. The downside that some people complain of is that the resistance curve is different to that of gravity based weights, the further you stretch them the greater the resistance.
