If You Stop Weight Lifting, Do You Lose What You’ve Gained?
Question:
For example, if someone lifts weights for a few months, gaining some strength and size, do they lose those gains if they stop lifting? Do they lose all of the gains and go back to the way they were before they ever started? How fast does it happen?
I ask this question because I may not be able to continue weight-training (I will be overseas with the Peace Corps., and probably won’t have access to any weights or facilities). All I’ll be able to do for a couple years is pushups, cardio, things like that.
Thanks!

You don’t need weights or facilities to stay in shape. Get some Bodylastics resistance bands. They deliver a first class workout for every part of your body and you can do the exercises no matter where you are. It’s a complete portable gym.
They are multi-angled and adjustable, enabling them to perform the same exercises that machines do and weights. The Terrell Owens Super Strong Man set is capable of 5 to 254 lbs of resistance.
