How To Make Your Workouts Brutally Effective
You aren’t going to get the body of your dreams by doing abdominal crunches three times a week. If you really want to transform how you look, you need to push your body to the limit.

Thus, here are 6 ways to take your training sessions to the next level:
1. Eat a small snack before training: Do not buy into the idea that training on an empty stomach leads to more fat loss, nothing could be further from the truth. On the contrary, exercise science and peer reviewed research clearly demonstrate that you get better results when you have a pre exercise snack.
2. Hyper hydrate before intense training: This will help you top off your water stores, so to speak. And recall that water will prevent you from overheating, a condition that brings you to fatigue very quickly. Just make sure you equilibrate right before exercising.
3. Drink a liquid meal right after you finish: This is a great strategy to jump start recovery and to prevent your blood sugar from plummeting after your intense session. And recall that your muscles need carbs right after training for best results.
4. Listen to your own music: This may sound basic, but I see countless people falling victim to what their gym is playing on the loud speakers. And research has shown that listening to your own music increases the intensity of your workout.
5. Have a pre workout ritual: Elite athletes usually have some type of ritual they follow before competing. They do this because it works. You see, when you mentally agitate yourself right before a physical exertion your body releases stress hormones. And said hormones allow you to work harder.
6. Drink your own water: Don’t rely on the semi filtered water your gym offers. Bring your own water bottle and drink from it consistently during your workout. This will prevent you from overheating and fatiguing. Recall that heat causes your body to give out faster.
