How Long To Wait Between Resistance Training?
Question:
If I do resistance work at the gym is it true I should wait a day before doing it again. I read somewhere that you have to give your muscles time to repair or something.
Also if it is true, is it okay to do cardio in the day i’m not supposed to do resistance work?
Thanks in advance.

You do need to give your muscle time to repair so don’t workout the same muscle groups every day. BTW, weights aren’t the only way to get your resistance training. You can use resistance bands. Not sure what to do with them? Check out the free daily resistance bands exercises here.
Yes, you do need to give your muscles time to repair. You do not need to take the next day off unless you are doing a total body workout. You could split your workouts Back/bicep, Chest/tricep, Legs/shoulders. (Adding in abs when you can.) Then take your day off.
You can do cardio on your "off" days, but you really should have one day of rest each week. BTW, you should do cardio on your weight training days too.
