Building Muscle Using Only Resistance Bands
I’m 15 and all I have at home are resistance bands. I would prefer weights, but it’s I I have. Do you think they will get me anywhere and build up my biceps/triceps/chest or do you think it may take just entirely too long?

You can certainly build muscle if you use heavy resistance that really challenge your muscle. I recommend a set that allows you to clip on multiple resistance bands to the attachments like Bodylastics bands. That way you can adjust the resistance as your muscles adapt. If you don’t stay challenged, they won’t grow.
Absolutely. Strength training can be done with any equipment or no equipment at all; you just have to make sure that you’re adjusting the bands to the correct resistance. If you’re trying to hypertrophy your muscles (make them bigger) you need to find a resistance that causes your muscles to fail after 8-10 repetitions.
Actually, resistance bands can workout your entire body, whereas weights can’t. Isolated exercises with weights are less efficient if your goal is build muscle on all major muscle groups. Go for compound movements that workout more than one muscle group at a time.
If you’re not sure what to do with the resistance bands, you can get free workouts for them here.
To a certain extent, but if you want to look like you can bench 300 and deadlift 700, the only way to get there is by actually benching 300 and deadlifting 700, which means you need to switch to free weights.
