Best way to resistance train without a spotter?
Question:
I have always been told that the best way to strength train is bench press, squats, clean and jerk, etc. However, I like to work out alone on my own time and have been told to never do those exercises without a spotter. What can I do to build muscle without the need for a spotter?

whilst bench pressing is the leading cause of death for people who work out alone at home that does not mean you can’t do it. If you use a lighter weight on a smith machine and do slower tempos and higher reps you should still be able to gain muscle, but you can’t get as much of a intense workout without a spotter.
