Are Resistance Bands just as good as dumbbells?
Q: I’m going off to college and leaving my weights at home. I would like to know if resistance bands are just as good (or even better) if used properly?
A: Resistance bands can do more that dumbbells if you get the right kind. Stay away from flat Pilates-type bands and tubes with handles already attached. You want high quality, non-snapping tubes with clips. Non-snapping tubes prevent the tubes from being stretched too far, yet it doesn’t interfere with exercise movements.
