1. Perform compound exercises more than isolation exercises

Research has shown that performing compound exercises such as squats, dead-lifts and bench press stimulate MANY more muscle fibers than if you were doing isolation exercises.

Performing compound exercises kicks your body into high gear. Exercises such as the squat release massive amounts of testosterone into your system which benefits all of your muscles.

2. Rest a minimum of 7 days between workouts

Over training is one of the biggest mistakes that people who are trying to build muscle make. Each muscle group requires a minimum of seven days rest.

Working on a muscle more than once every seven days will slow down your gains s much as 40%. Most guys have been brainwashed into believing that there muscles grow in the gym. This is wrong, your muscle only grow while you are RESTING. Also remember to get at least 8 hours of sleep a night.

3. Warm up before you begin training

It is very important to warm up properly before you begin training. Very few people ever learn to warm up properly and usually pay for it down the line.

Warming up helps to prevent injury it also help you to prepare and focus for the coming workout
